Torrington is in the developmental stages of building air moving solutions
for a major poultry producer. The challenge is to improve heating and
ventilation to maintain optimum conditions for bird growth in the winter,
including sufficient ventilation, humidity control, temperature control, and
removing air contaminants. Efficient ventilation results in higher yields
in growing birds. Torrington solutions include variable speed fans that
incorporate humidity sensors and that will survive contaminated conditions
and reduce fuel costs -- decreasing energy costs that can account for up to
40 percent of a grower's out of pocket expenses -- and ensuring a 10- to 15-year product life. |
